We offer an alternative to common goods in your cabinet, assembled by hand in New Orleans by Jessica Rhoades. When possible, we source locally, buy from organic farms, and support minority businesses.
Everything is handmade in our Bywater studio.

Small batch processes ensure the freshest garden-to-skin concoctions and extend your enjoyment of our candles, balms, salves and sprays.
Many ingredients are cultivated from our organic garden using all natural practices in raised beds and planters.

This includes herbs, citrus, peppers, and flowers.​
Solar infusion spans 4-6 weeks with homegrown herbal ingredients inside the base oil.
The oil is filtered for many Southern Rhoades products.
Homegrown and locally sourced (when possible) ingredients are handcrafted into all natural health and beauty products.

Jessica and Greg Rhoades own Southern Rhoades Apothecary in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana.
