Where are you located?

For five years we have operated out of our home studio. Our new apothecary and mercantile will be located in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans - a hop, skip, and a jump away! The corner storefront will be occupied for the first time in decades, and we're honored to be opening soon.

Do you handcraft your own products?

YES! All of the Southern Rhoades Apothecary goods are handcrafted. Many ingredients are even homegrown. This isn't just a buy and resell operation - we're putting a lot of love into these health and beauty products.

What do you grow in your garden?

Herbs, flowers, and citrus! Specifically - roses, lavender, sage, rosemary, basil, dill, oregano, mint, spearmint, thyme, aloe vera, grapefruit, clementine, sweet orange, satsuma, key lime, meyer lemon. (And more that we eat!)

Is your cold process soap vegan?

YES! All of our soaps are vegan and are palm oil free.

What local ingredients do you use?

Honey, sugar, beeswax, loofahs, coffee, grain alcohol, water, and more.

Is your Palo Santo sustainably sourced?

YES! We are USDA certified timber importers and work directly with a family farm in Ecuador.

What is your shipping policy?

All Southern Rhoades Apothecary products are made to order and will take time for arrival. Please allow 5-7 business days for shipment. Shipping prices are provided at checkout, or estimates provided via email. Please contact with special requests including gift wrap or express shipping.

What is your return & exchange policy?

All sales are final due to the small batch creation using all natural ingredients. As no preservatives are added, most products have a shelf life of 6+ months unless otherwise noted. Please contact Southern Rhoades directly with any questions or concerns.

Do you offer wholesale and bulk pricing?

Yes! We do have a wholesale website where you can purchase directly. Email us to create your login account. We'd love to offer our handmade goods in your retail shop.
